Voices for Inclusion Fundraising Efforts-Jan-May time period
Voices for Inclusion was involved in helping plan a Trivia Night Fundraiser for the Chapel of the Lake Youth Group to raise funds for their mission trip to Greece.
The team was able to raise around $2,500.00 after expenses which helped tremendously with expenses for this trip.
We had a great time working with the leader of this event, Donna Wheeler. This event was held in March 2009.
THE SHARING SHED
The next event Voices for Inclusion helped with was a fundraising Gargage Sale for a group called the Sharing Shed. The Sharing Shed is an extension of Chapel of the Lake.
This wonderful foundation helps those in need that cannot afford to meet their needs. Household items, beds, mattresses, toys, furniture and other miscellaneous items are donated by the public and given away free to those in need.
Their gargage sale brought in over $1,000.00 to "help them help others?".
This event was held in April 2009.
